The Glass Light Gallery, Featuring the Perry Glass Art Collection
Curated in conjunction with the Chrysler Museum of Art and the Perry Glass Art Studio, the hotel's Perry Glass Art Collection & Gallery features beautiful glass pieces from local and internationally renowned artists. The collection includes a rotating selection of pieces, which guests will find throughout the hotel, as well as in the gallery, such as the six-foot glass-blown bunnies, Doug and Pat, crafted by multi-talented Dutch artist Peter Bremers.
The Historic Royster Building
Built in 1912, the Royster Building where the Glass Light Hotel & Gallery currently stands is a study in artistic architecture. Immaculately preserved and restored, the hotel and gallery retain many of the charming fixtures, furnishings, and accents of the Royster Building, including a "found" skylight in the dining room, the original elevator cab, exposed brick and original stonework, the original brass mail chute, and the ground floor's decorative staircase, among many others.
The Bunnies
Our six-foot glass bunnies, "Pops and Bunny", crafted by renowned Dutch artist Peter Bremers are ready to greet you in our lobby and restaurant.
